Group Nervous System Regulation Sessions
Supporting Teams, Schools & Communities Before Big Moments
Our nervous systems don’t just activate individually they activate collectively. Whether it’s a sports team heading into competition, a group of students preparing for exams or performances, a workplace team facing high-pressure deadlines, or performers stepping onto a stage heightened activation is natural.
The key is not stopping the activation. The key is learning how to regulate it.
Who These Sessions Are For
I offer group nervous system regulation sessions for:
Sports teams preparing for competition
Performing arts groups before shows or auditions
Students facing exams or assessments
Corporate teams navigating high-pressure environments
Retreat groups or community organisations
Children’s groups learning emotional regulation skills
Any group entering a moment that may amplify stress, anxiety, or performance pressure can benefit from understanding how their nervous system works.
What We Focus On
These sessions are practical, educational, and experiential.
Participants will learn:
How the nervous system responds to stress and performance pressure
The difference between helpful activation and overwhelm
How to recognise early signs of dysregulation
Somatic tools to regulate in real time
We practise:
Grounding and orienting techniques
Breath and movement-based regulation
Co-regulation within teams
Pre-event rituals to support focus and presence
Strategies for coming back to centre after mistakes or setbacks
For children and young people, sessions are interactive and empowering. They learn that their body is not “failing” them it is responding exactly as designed. When they understand this, confidence grows.
For adults and teams, we work on shifting from anxious reactivity to embodied readiness.
Why This Work Matters
Activation before a big event is normal. A racing heart, sweaty palms, butterflies these are signs your body is preparing you. When groups understand this, fear turns into focus.
Instead of trying to “calm down,” we work toward regulated readiness. A state where the nervous system is alert, connected, and responsive rather than overwhelmed.
When individuals regulate, teams regulate. When teams regulate, performance shifts.
The Body Knows
My role is not to control the nervous system it is to teach people how to work with it. Through accessible, non-touch somatic practices, I support groups to build awareness, resilience, and confidence in high-pressure moments.
Because when we trust the body, we perform from presence not panic.
